Club Championship entry forms are up now in the Clubhouse and will be taken down on 1st May, so do sign up soon. The date of the adult and junior draws will be posted in the Clubhouse. Finals Day and Presentation of Cups etc will be on Saturday 12th July.
Subscriptions became due on 1st April. Reduced rate for Full and Junior Members: £5 off if you pay by 30th April. Of course you must have paid your subs to enter the Club Championship, play in league matches and enter the Wimbledon Draw. Entry to the Wimbledon Draw (adult playing members only) is made on the subs form and must be received by 1st May latest. The Draw will take place in the bar on Friday 9th May at the Spring Social.
Spring Social , Friday 9th May, 8–midnight: everyone welcome for a good evening to kick off the season. Please bring a plate of snacks, savoury or sweet, if you can.

Fun Day , Saturday 26th April 2-4pm: our annual event when we hope to attract new members. We need a good turnout of members, especially higher team players, to knock with prospective new members. And do bring along anyone you think might be interested in joining. Special Offers to people joining on the day: half-hour free individual coaching for adults, 12 free group coaching sessions for juniors.

Junior Coaching : all Junior members are entitled to 12 free group coaching sessions on Friday evenings, starting 18th April (excluding 30th May, half-term). Mini members’ lessons are from 4-4.30, Under-12’s 4.30-5.15, Under-18’s 5.15-6pm.
American Tournaments : Simon is planning a series of American Tournaments. The first ones are on Sunday 11th May and Thursday 15th May. Entry £5. Prizes. See notice board for details of these and future events.
John Clegg : we have just heard that John died in Poole on 31st March. John was our Coach and he and Shirley played here for many years. When they moved away they donated the Clegg Cups which we present each year to the Under-18 champions.
Alex Golding thanks all those who contributed to his New Zealand trip, during which he moved up a few more ranking places (now 18 & Under: 29 in national ranking, 3 in Middlesex; Men’s national ranking 103). He is currently training hard and competing in junior international tournaments and some Men’s British Tours. Myles is also training and they hope to enter some Junior ITF doubles events together.
Alcohol : members are reminded that only alcohol purchased from the bar may be consumed at the Club.
Court Etiquette : please remember to wait for a point to finish before walking past a court.
Tuesday Social Tennis 10-12 : Simon has revitalised this so please come (ladies and men) to support it.
